I have 30+ years of law enforcement experience, including supervisory experience. 18 years were in investigations including gangs, narcotics, and homicide investigations. I also was assigned in the hostage negotiation team for several years. I worked two years as the Public Information Officer for the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

I retired full-time in October of 2020, but currently work as a retired annuitant assigned to Cold Case Homicide Investigations.

I am also an Institute of Criminal Investigations instructor teaching several courses related to homicide investigations and officer involved shooting investigations. I work as an independent contracted instructor for Northern California Regional Public Safety Training Authority, South Bay Regional Training Consortium, and the Government Training Agency.
